Meet Dr. Linda Alvarenga
Surgery, Dentistry, Internal Medicine, and Ophthalmology
Dr. Linda Alvarenga is a Florida native who earned her undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida, where she also minored in studio art. She later went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University.
Dr. Alvarenga has a passion for providing compassionate, high-quality care to pets and their families. Her professional interests include surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, and ophthalmology, and she looks forward to continuing to grow her skills through mentorship and hands-on experience.
She is bilingual in English and Spanish and enjoys helping Spanish-speaking families feel comfortable and confident when discussing their pets’ health and care. Dr. Alvarenga has also completed training in veterinary acupuncture and hopes to incorporate integrative medicine into her practice.
In addition to dogs and cats, Dr. Alvarenga has a special interest in exotic animals, particularly birds, and hopes to expand these services in the future. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys painting, going to the beach, and spending time outdoors with her dogs.
